Members! For those of you who have yet to send us your info for your profile, please do so! Also, once you get your profiles up and running, that is not the end of them! If at any time you wish to update certain aspects of it, feel free to note the club and we will work on your request ASAP.

UPDATE: 3/24/09= Wow, I realize that I haven't updated the journal in a long time, but I thought I would just get to it and displace any beliefs that this club is dead or inactive. We are as active as I can make us between going to school full-time and still trying to have a life - and I can't submit art for you unless you send it in! We absolutely need to get things jumpstarted and to do that I need submissions! Please, send in any prose you have!

UPDATE: 6/09/08= Oh, my God! An update? What the heck is that? it certainly doesn't sound like something we'd have around here now, does it? Well, I figured it was about time to make my quarterly speech about the club not being dead. I just got Internet turned on in my new apartment, so, that's my lame excuse for falling behind. Anyway, since the update I'm displacing to stick with my "Only Three Updates On the Front Page At Any Given Time" format had a count of our community, I thought I could compare the two.

Then: 32 members, 24 affiliates, and 3 staff.

Now: 58 members, 28 affiliates, and 3 staff.

We can still grow, people! And we can still use your submissions!

UPDATE: 4/11/08= It's been awhile since I last told you all that we aren't dead, so I thought I'd post a new update in the main news journal (doesn't that qualify as news?). Anyway, sorry it seems so empty around here. I'm busy with school and life - not to mention, I'm the only administrator that even bothers to come around anymore (and I didn't ever start this club, go figure). So, yeah, keep sending in those submissions and I'll post them whenever I have a moment to breathe :] That's a guarantee.

About ~Kindred-Chronicle
The goal of our group is to get prose writers out of the dark and to allow them to share their works with a broader audience.

Keep in mind that this club has rules. They are simple and are as follows: Respect your fellow members. Your comments may be critical, but not rude. And lastly, no flaming of any sort will be tolerated.

Joining
Joining is simple! Just take a moment out of your busy schedule to said us a note with the subject "Join" (for our own benefit, it's easiest to sort through notes with obvious purposes, so, please, subject them as we've requested). Depending on our time online, we will get back to you to say whether or not you've been accepted as a member (but why wouldn't we accept you?). Please, watch the club's page and we will watch yours in return.

Submitting
Want your prose in our gallery? Just send us a note with the link to the submission and it will be posted in the gallery as soon as our admin can get to it. First read submission rules below!

Contests
We have no current contests at this time.

Affiliating
If you would like to become affiliates with KC, please, send a note of request, and we will get on it right away! Not only are we trying to get writers noticed but other clubs dedicated to such as well! Don't be afraid to send us a note because we are always looking for affiliates and will rarely (a.k.a. never) deny a request.

Every piece submitted to the gallery belongs to a member of this club. You are not to use any piece of this without first consulting the member it belongs to. ART THEFT IS A BIG NO-NO.

While commenting is encouraged, it is not mandatory. We will not come after you if you never comment. Just remember that many members of this club would like to get their prose noticed by others and may be searching for critique as well. The more you comment others and help them out, the more willing they will be to help you in return; this is called karma.
